How it works?
MLD is usually applied with a gentle application technique used to move the waste fluids from the damaged area. The skin movements are very light so that the small lymph vessels are not flattened. Flattened lymph vessels would prevent fluid from draining. When stagnant lymph fluid is successfully moved back into circulation in your body, the result is that more fluid is available to be processed by your kidneys.
Manual lymphatic drainage is additionally deeply relaxing alongside with its healing effects on fractures, torn ligaments and the pain it provokes.
